VoIP Conferences
VoIP ( Voice Over Internet Protocol ), with a focus on SIP ( Session Initiation Protocol ) as a mechanism connecting real time protocols.
This is a disruptive technology in terms of existing phone companies. Like every new technology its momentum creates problems for
incumbent providers and opportunities for everybody including incumbent service providers, individuals and many forms of business in between.
Combine emerging technology with new use and shifting regulations to experience a stew in the making. Conferences provide a way to
put faces to the people who you might like to know.

"
VON Japan is much more than just a show. ItÕs the place where the entire Asian VON
industry - telecoms, wireless, and Internet - gets together to conduct business.
If itÕs happening with VoIP, itÕs happening at VON.
WhatÕs the implication of the worldÕs leader in 3G technology also being the country adopting the most VoIP solutions?
Is it that the experience of one drives another?
Is it that the standards set by cell phones have created a desire for an interface better than the 12-button set?
Are features like video proliferating the VoIP experience in Japan?
Is convergence a misnomer for the expectation of an Interoperable IP-enabled transport network?"
